Another participation… brings one more award for Coffee Island

Since 1999 and the first “modern” traditional coffee roasters… to the European Business Awards of 2016/17.

In other words, everything from the raw coffee bean, to the creation of the best blends, finding the optimal roasting curve and the beverage making ritual, continuous testing, calculating, designing and setting up every shop, training our staff and continuously supporting them, can be summarized in three words: passion, love and artistry. These are the values that lead us!

Today, everyone at Coffee Island is proud because for the 3^rd continuous year we were named “National champions” at the European Awards 2016/17. We are now moving on to the second phase of the contest in order to claim «The ELITE Award for Growth Strategy of the Year». This award is especially important to us as the «Growth Strategy of the Year» award, is given to businesses that show the best international organic development strategy, by accomplishing exceptional levels of sales and profits, while at the same time increasing their market share. Coffee Island advanced to the next stage as one of the 636 top businesses from a total of 33.000 that took part in the competition, from a pool of 34 European countries. These awards are given each year by RSM International.

The second phase of the competition involves having the “National Champions” submitting a video. There, we will present our business’s special history and its success. This video, will also be uploaded to www.businessawardseurope.com, so that the public can vote for its favourite company. This contest ends in the summer of 2017, with a special award ceremony, in which the official winners for each category will be announced.

We believe that the results will bring us another success. Here at Coffee Island, attention to detail and the science of coffee is our ticket to the top!
